Vendtec GmbH, Grabenstrasse 15a, 6340 Baar, Switzerland (hallo@knoxhydrate.ch). This statement follows the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where applicable, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Hosting and server logs
The website is run by Infomaniak Network SA, Geneva, in data centres in Switzerland. On each visit, technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser type) is briefly stored in server log files to keep the site secure and stable.
Forms
When you send the stockist enquiry, the ambassador application, the contact form or the newsletter sign-up, we process the details you enter, the language you chose, the page you sent the form from and where your visit came from (see below). The details are emailed to our team through our email service at Infomaniak (Switzerland), recorded in our customer management system Zoho CRM and kept as a backup copy on our server in Switzerland.
Where your visit came from
So we can see which campaign or website brings enquiries, the site remembers for your browser session (session storage, cleared when you close the tab) the campaign parameters in the link (e.g. utm_source or gclid), the first page you opened and the referring website. This information only leaves your browser if you send a form.
Purpose and retention
We use your details to answer your enquiry or application, to prepare a business relationship or collaboration and, if you wish, to keep you informed about KNOX in Switzerland. We keep them as long as needed for this, at most 24 months after our last contact, unless the law requires longer retention. Newsletter details are deleted as soon as you unsubscribe.
Cookies and analytics
Without your consent we set no analytics cookies. If you choose “Accept all” in the banner, we may use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) with a shortened IP address to analyse use of the site and completed enquiries statistically. Your choice is stored in your browser (local storage). You can withdraw it at any time by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Transfers abroad
Zoho CRM (Zoho Corporation) and Google may process data outside Switzerland, in particular in the EU and the USA. We rely on adequacy decisions of the Swiss Federal Council, the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, delete and receive your data, and to withdraw consent. Write to hallo@knoxhydrate.ch. You can also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
